Are your facial products suitable for all skin types?
Yes, our Kakadu Facial Oil, Bakuchiol Rejuvenate Serum, Cleansing Oil and Lip Calm are 100% natural and formulated to be suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. Our Kūmarahou Facial Cleansing Cake is made from natural and naturally-derived ingredients and is formulated to be gentle for sensitive skin.
Whenever you add a new product into your skincare routine we do recommend that you always patch test first before use.
Our Bakuchiol Rejuvenate Serum includes 1% of a high-potency Bakuchiol extract.
Scientific studies have shown .5% Bakuchiol extract in a formulation is as effective as .5% retinol at improving hyperpigmentation and fine lines when used daily for 12 weeks, all without the skin irritation common with retinol. Keep in mind bakuchiol won't be comparable to stronger retinoids such as retinaldehyde or retinoic acid.
Bakuchiol is a gentle alternative to retinol, but it is a potent botanical active so we recommend patch testing first and building up use if your skin is sensitive. Please message us if you'd like more specific recommendations.

Do you have products suitable for blemish-prone skin?
Yes we do! Our Kawakawa Cleansing Bar with Chlorophyll has had great results as a gentle, balancing cleanser for those suffering with acne due to the anti-bacterial properties of the Kawakawa Chlorophyll extract.
We recommend pairing this with Bakuchiol Rejuvenate Serum which includes 1% bakuchiol extract known to exhibit anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and balance sebum (oil) production.
One study* found that a formulation with 1% bakuchiol extract applied twice daily reduced acne by 57% after six weeks.

Absolutely. Nothing but good goes into our natural skin care and all our beauty products are free from nasty chemicals, skin irritants or synthetic fillers.

Absolutely. Our hair care bars are designed with all the family in mind.
How should I store my hair care bars?
When not in use, store your bars away from water - e.g. outside the shower - on a well-draining soap dish to make it last as long as possible. A saucer with pebbles is a nice DIY soap dish idea.
How soon can I expect my order?
We pack orders within one business day of receiving them and ship orders from Frankie HQ in Auckland every Monday to Friday.

I love this shampoo bar so much that I just bought two more. My hair is very fine, grey/silver/white and this shampoo is just perfectly suited to it. I no longer want to buy shampoo in bottles! Great service, very fast delivery! Love it.
I first tried this soap when hubby bought some with his airpoints. I have tried many different products over the years and had resorted to plain soap because nothing was quite worth buying more of. I struggle with oily scalp, dandruff and dry hair. This soap has made a 'real' difference, my scalp doesn't get so oily and my comb is left far less dirty with dust and dandruff after each brushing, than before.
I bought the shampoo bar, with a little trepidation as I have grey/silver/white hair. BUT, my concerns were unnecessary. I just love this shampoo bar. My hair smells clean, feels great! In the past few months, I've been experiencing much drier skin than usual and outbreaks of mild psoriasis all over my body, and my scalp was no exception. I knew I had to try something new when my scalp became very itchy and sore, and having had great success with the Frankie Body Oil and Balm on my skin flare-ups, I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner and see if that helped. I've used them together four or five times now, and have noticed a massive improvement, pretty much immediately. Love this shampoo. I'd reverted back to supermarket brand shampoo for my fine greasy hair that I was daily. Unfortunately my scalp was suffering for it. It took a few washes for my hair to adjust to using soap bar again (I was a bit worried the formula has changed) but now my hair & scalp are happy again. Love the smell (& so do my 6 & 4 year old) - the bathroom smelt amazing when I opened the pack. We have a shower dome so soap has to live outside the shower otherwise it gets to soggy.

I’ve had an itchy scabby scalp most of my life. I’ve tried so many scalp care shampoos over the years - however I’m also really sensitive to strong fragrances so that has limited what I can use. I have noticed a HUGE difference since using my Frankie shampoo bar - I’m no longer picking at my scalp all the time because it has actually healed! Once I’ve used up my existing bottled conditioner I’ll definitely be trying the Frankie conditioner bar. THANK YOU!
